About DeckBasket

DeckBasket is currently in Demo Mode. Search for individual singles or paste a decklist to exercise the real comparison and optimisation product. Every displayed retailer, price, stock count and postage rule is deterministic synthetic data created by DeckBasket; no retailer is represented as participating.

Why a whole list, not just one card

Looking at individual card prices is misleading once postage is included. Buying every card wherever it happens to be cheapest can add a second postage charge to save twenty pence. DeckBasket works out the best overall way to buy a list, treating the set of retailers to order from as the decision that postage actually attaches to.

DeckBasket does not sell cards

DeckBasket holds no stock, takes no payment and handles no orders. In Demo Mode there is no retailer checkout at all: listing actions explain the demo instead of sending anyone to a shop. The values are designed to show how the product behaves, not what any card costs today.

What it will and will not claim

The optimiser finds the cheapest delivered total within the synthetic dataset, using the same search, listing-selection, stock and postage logic intended for authorised retailer feeds. Its output demonstrates the calculation only. It is not a buying recommendation, a live quote, or a claim about the cheapest option in the UK.

Historical retailer adapters and rows are retained for engineering, but they are excluded from every price, stock and basket query. Live data returns only after a permitted integration is documented and deliberately enabled. Coverage and method has the current figures and a plain list of what DeckBasket will not claim.

Where the data comes from

Card names, sets and images come from Scryfall. Demo prices, stock and delivery rules are generated reproducibly from the catalogue and do not come from a retailer.
